If Beale Street Could Talk [15]

Join us for a screening of this incredible film, an adaptation of James Baldwin's eponymous novel. The story is set in Harlem, the black soul of New York City, in the era of Aretha Franklin and Ray Charles. The narrator of Baldwin's novel is Tish, nineteen and pregnant. Her lover Fonny, father of her child, is in jail. From the Oscar-winning director Barry Jenkins. Includes drinks + popcorn!
