They showcase the best paperback reads for the summer and help demonstrate the impact of independent booksellers building readerships for the books they love.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e Indie Book Awards \u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003ecomprise four categories: \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eFiction\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e, \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eNon-Fiction\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e, \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eChildren’s Fiction\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e and \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ePicture Book\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e. Publishers can submit up to three titles per imprint, per category (submission forms will be available in January). Independent booksellers across the UK and Ireland curate the shortlist from the publisher submissions and\u003c\/span\u003e\u003ci\u003e \u003c\/i\u003e\u003cspan\u003ea panel of judges then decide on the four winners. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eThe Indie Book Awards\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e shortlist and winners are promoted to and by all bookshops participating in\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eIndependent Bookshop Week\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e. \u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe full shortlists are available below.
