Our very own Aidan - bookseller, writer and resident storyteller, will be delighting children with a story (or two!), followed by a fun seasonal creative activity. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAutumnal themed costumes are very welcome though not essential. Think woodland fairies, squirrels, hedgehogs... as creative as you like!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eAbout Aidan: \u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAidan hails from Austin, Texas and graduated with an MA in Creative Writing MA from the University of Leicester, specialising in young adult fiction. She loves to read, write, and watch pretty much anything in the fantasy genre. She's currently working on finishing her first book and loves to share stories and book recommendations.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eNeed to Know Info: \u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ePlease note that there is a £2 ticket charge per child to attend this event which is redeemable against a book purchase on the day. This is to let us know who's joining us on the day and to avoid any disappointment should spaces sell out. \u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis event will take place in the Children's room at The Barn. We have limited space for buggies and scooters etc outside, weather permitting. Regrettably we do not have dedicated inside space for buggy storage but we will do our best to accommodate everyone. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe storytime will be ideal for children of \u003cstrong\u003epre-school age up to age 7\u003c\/strong\u003e plus any baby \/ toddler siblings and home-ed families. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eChildren will be seated on the floor, with a limited supply of cushions available. We'll provide stools for parents to perch.  \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eA short creative activity may be offered for children who wish to participate. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePlease note we do not have a customer toilet available. We'd recommend encouraging toilet trips beforehand if possible (though we do appreciate children can be unpredictable in this regard!). \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePhotos may be taken during the event for social media purposes. Please rest assured that backs of heads only will be photographed unless explicit permission has been given by the accompanying adult.
