Wilding: How to Bring Wildlife Back - An Illustrated Guide is a reimagining of Wilding: The Return of Nature to a British Farm by Isabella Tree. This beautiful illustrated gift book tells the story of a remarkable experiment: the rewilding of the Knepp Estate in West Sussex. Illustrated with lino prints and watercolours by Angela Harding, explains how rewilding works and includes beautiful spreads featuring species that have returned and thrive including butterflies, bats, owls and beetles.
There are accessible in-garden activities to 're-wild' your own spaces and the book encourages young readers to slow down and observe the natural world around them, and start to understand the connections between species and habitats, and the huge potential for life right on their doorstep.
(Please note, supply of the Independent Bookshop edition of Angela's book is very limited and will be whilst stocks last. Orders placed thereafter will be fulfilled with the standard - but still exquisitely beautiful - edition. We will endeavour to supply all orders with a free art print wherever possible, whilst stocks last.)
Angela will be joining us for an illustrator talk on Friday 22nd March, 7.30pm at Kibworth Cricket Club. Event details and ticket booking info can be found here:
