A word from Barbara and Tom on this bookish collection...
We are very fortunate to have everything we really need in life, and aware that times are tough out there - but if you absolutely feel you HAVE to bring something. Then here's the plan:
We are both pretty fond of books, and our favourite local bookshop 'Kibworth Books' has agreed to register us.
You can order in advance on the website or over the phone (0116 279 1121) and they will hold on to your orders there. If there's something specific you want, just ask and they can order it in for you, or we've put together some suggestions if you're short of ideas.
The preordered books will make their way to the wedding venue and there will be a little signing table set up where you can write an inscription if you wish. Or, alternatively, do pop by the shop for a browse before the big day. If checking out on line, please use the discount code we've emailed to you to help the team at the bookshop collate any orders.
This uniquely curated collection of books will have its own bookcase (so no need to wrap) and will finally make its way back to us, taking up residence as our 'Wedding Library' when we're all back home.
