Returns & Refunds
Kibworth Books is happy to exchange or refund your purchase on presentation of a valid receipt.
To be eligible for a return, your item(s) must be unused/unread, in perfect condition and in the original packaging. Goods must be returned within 14 days of purchase or receipt (whichever is the later).
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item(s). We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within 5 working days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t yet received a refund, first check your bank account again. Then contact your debit/credit card company or PayPal account, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time necessary before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at email@example.com.
Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. This should be logged with us within 14 days of receipt of the item. If you need to exchange for the same item, please write to us at firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone us on 0116 2791121 to establish whether we are able to supply a replacement, or whether a refund will have to be issued. If we agree that your item was damaged in transit, we will issue a refund for the damaged item and any postage paid on the original order. Any postage costs incurred to return a damaged item may or may not be refunded, depending on the circumstances. This should be agreed before the item is returned.
If an item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, an E-Gift Card will be emailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and she will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item(s). Shipping costs are non-refundable.
If you are shipping an item over £30, you should consider using a trackable service. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
