Cringe Club Book Signing with Emily-Jane Clark

Thu 4th Sep, 2025, 3.30-4.30pm

Kibworth Books, The Children's Room at Barn

We're delighted to be welcoming back the wonderful and hilarious Emily-Jane Clark - author of Waterstone's Children's Book of the Year shortlisted The Beasts of Knobbly Bottom books and now, her latest book, Cringe Club.

Emily will be here for one hour after the school day to meet with children, talk to them about the book (and maybe some cringe experiences of her own!), and sign copies of her books purchased at Kibworth Books.

If you cannot make the signing but would like to order a copy of the book for signing and dedication you can Order copies HERE.

Prebooking is not required for this event.

About the Book:

The first in a hilarious new series for kids, told entirely in the form of a group chat.

Welcome to the group chat! It's called Cringe Club because, as you might have guessed, it contains a cringe binge of EPIC proportions. My name is Kennedy King and I have been FORCED to move to London by The Mother.

I have just started Hellington High School (aka HELL HIGH). The only GOOD thing about moving is that The Mother has finally agreed to let me have my own phone (guilt present) so I can stay in touch with my best friends. Enter at your own risk (of cringe) and remember... what is said in Cringe Club, STAYS in Cringe Club.

Features themes of fitting in and making friends, starting a new school and (most importantly) embracing your cringe! For readers aged 8+ with illustrations throughout. Perfect for fans of Lottie Brooks and Dork Diaries.
