Cringe Club Book-Signing with Emily Jane Clark

Award-winning author and comedy writer Emily Jane Clark will be joining us here in the bookshop to celebrate the launch of the third book in her brilliant Cringe Club series: Cringe Club SOS.
Highly acclaimed, perfect for tweens, teens and reluctant readers, Cringe Club has quickly become a strong Children's favourite, both here in the bookshop and beyond. We're so delighted to have Emily join us to meet with readers and fans of all ages.
What to expect:
As well as signing books, Emily will talk to fans about cringes, embracing our cringe, transitioning to secondary school, and the book (Obvs!). It's the perfect opportunity to grill Emily on your own cringe dilemmas, as per the Cringe Club Podcast -so come armed and ready with your questions and anecdotes!
Ticket price includes a copy of Cringe Club SOS. Copies of Emily's other titles can be purchased HERE for collection and signing at the event.

Need to know info:
This is a drop in book-signing session so you are welcome to join us during the event timings of 2 - 3pm. A queuing system will be in place. Some waiting may be expected whilst Emily signs books.
If attending with younger children, please note this event will take place in the Children's room at The Barn. We have limited space for buggies and scooters etc outside, weather permitting. Regrettably we do not have dedicated inside space for buggy storage but we will do our best to accommodate everyone.
Please note we do not have a customer toilet available. We'd recommend encouraging toilet trips beforehand if possible (though we do appreciate children can be unpredictable in this regard!).
Photos may be taken during the event for social media purposes. Please rest assured that backs of heads only will be photographed unless explicit permission has been given by the accompanying adult. If you would prefer for your child / teen not to be in any photos do just let us know and we will be sure to honour this.
